Medicaid is for low-income individuals and families. The Childrens Health Insurance Program is for children and pregnant women whose families earn too much to qualify for Medicaid but cannot afford private insurance. The Veterans Health Administration provides health care services for people who have served in the military. TRICARE is a health care program for active-duty service members and their families.
