Slide notes:One of the current concerns about U.S. health care is the fragmentation of services. To minimize this problem, the Veterans Health Administration is divided into twenty-one numbered units called Veterans Integrated Services Networks, or VISN . Each network coordinates and supervises administrative activities and the provision of health care in its region. This map of the U.S. shows the states and territories included in each of the twenty-one units. 14
